The 10th International Scholars’ Conference, to be held on October 24-25, 2023 in Puting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite, is a great opportunity for all members of the academe of four Southeast Asian universities – Asia Pacific International University, Universitas Advent Indonesia, Universitas Klabat, and Adventist University of the Philippines – to engage in research, create advanced possibilities, and develop additional ideas that can have a significant impact on education.

Guidelines:

  • All acceptance and approval of abstracts is conducted by the Research Office Reviewer Panel.
  • You are permitted to submit only one abstract as first author, but you may co-author multiple other abstracts.
  • Multiple abstract submissions on the same topic/data are not permitted.
  • All authors must approve the abstract before submission.
  • The abstract must represent original research. Plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and should be avoided.
  • The abstract must not have been published as an abstract or full paper in a professional publication at the time of submission or presented previously at another conference.
  • Submitting authors must review and use APA 7th Edition Style and Format.
  • Do not include any references in your Abstract. Make sure it serves both as a general introduction to the topic and as a brief, non-technical summary of the main results and their implications. Abstract should be unstructured, i.e. should not contain sections or subheadings.
  • Abstracts must confirm ERB approval for conducting human subjects’ research.
  • Abstracts in case reports must attest to having the respondents’/participants’ written permission to present their data, and all data must be deidentified.
  • To present your abstract at the conference, you must be registered for the conference. If your conference registration is not received by the conference registration deadline, any accepted abstracts will be removed, and authors will be unable to present.
